i'm SO not impressed
some jackal stole our snow shovel off. the. front. steps. me and my faith in humanity (see earlier post re: umbrella). like really. if you need a snow shovel that badly, clearly you have a house, and if you have a house, you have the means to BUY YOUR OWN FRIKKIN' SNOW SHOVEL! all i have to say is that it better have been some poor waif who needs to go around the neighbourhood shovelling peoples' walks for them to feed his poor emaciated grandma who is sitting at home immobile. or else. i have no patience for this. my dad apparently does, though. it was actually him who bought the shovel and i pointed out its absence to him and he said, "oh". and now it's me, ME, who will have to spend my hard earned (loaned) pennies on buying another shovel. the nerve.
people are such jerks.

i'm sorry. i forgot to tell you. this poor little waif came to the door and told me about his emaciated grandmother so i told him he could take the shovel and gave him $40 out of the grocery fund.

incase you're wondering what happened to the shoes that were out there this morning, check just inside the door before you think they got stolen too. ;)

does everyone know already that yesterday afternoon some creep came to the door AND ASKED IF WE WOULD PAY HIM TO SHOVEL THE WALK???? you try, TRY, to convince me that this isn't the guy who stole our shovel and then came back to burn us again.

i told him we'd do it ourselves. so if he IS the thief, he'll know now that our spirits will NOT be crushed!
