a lot of shoes
this morning as i was leaving for work, i said to helen: "what happened to the two pairs of shoes by the door rule?" (because we can't clutter up the doorway with shoes or we won't be able to get in the door... not sure who made the rule, but it's a gooder!)
helen: i really don't know!
me: i think i have at least three pairs here.
helen: yeah, i think we all have at least that many. and three pairs times four people is... [pause] ...a lot of shoes!
