well taking this picture a valuable lesson was learned: I, Amelia, look horrible with a moustache!

i'm sure everyone has missed hearing about ben's crazy antics. so, he's been back in the house for a couple of days (healing well) and i have a story to share. last night, elke and i were very excited to finally begin working on a draft of the book we are writing. we have a VERY OLD laptop that you can basically just type on from her mom. so we started. we wrote a few lines and then were trying to organize our thoughts and decide on some sort of outline and such. all of a sudden, the computer goes blank. we look down to find that ben has chewed right through the power cord! it was kind of funny but oh so sad. we don't know if it's even possible to replace the cord on such an old computer. how will we ever write our book? i wonder if ben got a shock when he chewed it?

well, ladies, as i read over the roommate blog from the last week or two, i must say i've been completely in my own little world. i think the only joke i was in on was the whole BLACK stocking incident. i've been holed up in my room or at the library wearing earplugs, trying not to go (more) insane. this is not a poor me post (although i do love sympathy) just a I'm BAAAAAAAAAAACk post. thanks for your love and concern over the last couple of weeks though, seriously.

amy, your alarm clock went off this morning while i was downstairs retrieving my laundry ~ scared the living daylights out of me. just thought you should know. happy studying!
